Use our feeding calculator as a starting point for your pet. Each four-legged friend will metabolize food differently based on their activity level, breed, age, etc.
Keep food frozen until ready to serve. When defrosting, place in the refrigerator overnight in an air-tight container.
Treat raw pet food with the same care as handling raw meat for your consumption. Always wash everything that comes in contact with raw meat.
Each 13.5 lb box has a bag containing 27 patties.
Each 20 lb box has two individually sealed 10lb bags, with 20 patties each (40 patties total).
Each 9.75 lb box contains two 4.875 lb bags
About 4oz of nuggets fit into a 1 cup measuring cup. This will vary due to the nuggets varying in size.
We suggest leaving the food in an airtight container in the fridge overnight to let the frozen food defrost, and giving it to your pet the next day. You can portion the food out for the week in containers, and it will stay good in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Yes, You can pour warm water over the food, and mix it in to warm it up Another way is while the food is still in it’s container/baggie to slightly warm up the food before serving.
No, we don’t suggest cooking the food as high heat breaks down beneficial nutrients and because the food contains ground bone.
Yes, raw turkey is an excellent source of nutritionally-dense lean protein, riboflavin, and phosphorus. The cooked turkey you share with your pet should be plain, free of bones, and given in moderation.
Yes, as long as the turkey bone is not cooked. Cooked bones can splinter and cause digestive upset. The turkey bone content in our food is double ground so it does not pose a threat to your pet.
Yes, raw turkey necks are a great source of nutrition. Chewing is great for your pet’s teeth and provides mental stimulation. Again, be sure to give in moderation.

Turkey is our female cocker spaniel's favorite Steve's flavor! We love that we can interchange their proteins each week so they don't get tired of their food!

I bought a bag of these for their Thanksgiving dinner. They enjoyed it, didn’t bother to beg for a table scrap. I added a scramble egg to make it more special to them.

My dogs go crazy whenever the turkey Patties are in their bowls. It is truly hard to keep them away. We are thrilled that they love a food that is so well made and wholesome. We are very careful about what we put into our dogs’ bodies. Feeding Steve’s gives us peace of mind !

Ryno’s has two favorite patties and Turkey is one of them. It’s the first protein he ever tried from Steve’s and to this day, still remains a faithful favorite. I love that it’s a white meat and he just gobbles it up so fast every time.

We switched to raw food because our husky developed ZRD from kibbles. It also feels natural for him to eat what his ancestors ate. He loves turkey patties and we know this food helped him heal. It feels amazing to feed him food of highest quality he absolutely deserves !
